E. Dynamic Spectrum Engine
PostSpec.JPG (15328 bytes)

The capability of performing response spectrum analysis of linear structure subjecting to base motion is available in the JL Analyzer. The normal mode method is used to transform the problem into uncoupled modal coordinates. Then the maximum modal responses are determined from the input response spectrum and the structure response is found by summing the contribution of each mode.
