Pre-Processing Module |
|
| There are four engines
to model a project. These engines have corresponding commands in
the PROCESS menu. |
| Step 1: Geometry Modeling Engine |
|
| The JL Analyzer contains 2D sketch and feature-based 3D
geometry modeling that you can easily use to create a desired
geometry.
|
|
Using
an innovative meshing
algorithm, JL Analyzer offers the fastest meshing and provides
good mesh solutions. JL Analyzer is
able to mesh 2D/3D shell or solid geometry, and offers a variety of mesh
types, such as triangle
element (3 or 6 nodes), quad element (4 or 8 nodes), tetrahedral element (4 or 10 nodes),
and brick element ( 8 nodes). With a single click of a mouse button, meshes are generated
automatically. The Professional Edition offers its
users an unlimited node mesh capability. Advanced features such as the gap/contact, mass, spring
elements are also available. |
|
The
JL Analyzer provides a comprehensive, pre-defined material library from
which you can select or assign material properties to a geometry
entity.
Additional user-defined materials may be added to (or stored in) the library.
There are also predefined geometric properties within the
JL
Analyzer, that may be used to define plate or shell thickness,
beam an truss cross-sections. The user may also select from the already existing AISC library or
customize. |
| Step 4: Boundary Condition & Load
Engine |
|
Boundary conditions and loads such as
distributed loads (pressures), point forces and moments and
gravity and centrifugal loads can be set
specifically on node, edge or surface as your desire. In
additional to these structural boundary conditions, the JL Analyzer also has thermal, electric,
seepage
boundary conditions capabilities. Different load types such as
force, pressure, temperature, gravity, centrifugal or any combination can all be assigned
easily through our intuitive interface. The JL Analyzer also supports multiple
constraint for structural analysis. |
